Forroutinecleaning,wipethesurfacewithasoft,
dampcloth.Formorethoroughcleaning,wipethe
surfacewithamildsoap.
Iftheleathercannotbecompletelycleanedusinga
mildsoapandwatersolution,theleathermaybe
cleanedusingacommerciallyavailablecleaning
product“TannersPreserveLeatherCleaner”anda
3M“TypeT’scrubbingpadbyusingthefollowing
steps;
Thetypeofscrubbingpadisverycritical
becausethecommon3M“ScotchBrite”green
padistooaggressiveandwilldamagethe
leathersurface

Sprayasmallamountoftheleathercleaneron
thepadandrubtheareatobecleanedwiththe
padusingacircularmotion.Onlyclean1/4ofthe
areaatatime.Forheavilysoiledareas,spraythe
cleanerdirectlyontotheleather(twosquirts
shouldbeadequate)andrubwiththepad.Repeat
ifnecessary.

Useasoft,dampclothtoremovetheloosened
dirtandfoam.
Drywithasoftcloth.
Donotusehouseholdcleaners,glasscleaner,
alcoholsolutionsorcleanerintendedforvinyl,
rubberorplastics.Theseproductscandamage
theleather.
Insomeinstances,colorordyetransfercan
occurwhenwetclothing(wool,denim,leathers
orothernon-colorfastgarments)comesin
contactwithleatherupholstery.Ifthisoccurs,
theleathershouldbecleanedimmediatelyto
avoidpermanentstaining.
