tonguestowardthecenterofthevehiclemaybe
hiddenbytherearedgeoftheseatcushion.Pull
themoutsotheywillbeaccessible.
Whileyouarefastenedintheseatbelt,theshoulder
beltadjuststoyourmovement.However,ifyou
brakehard,turnhardoryourvehiclereceivesan
impactof8km/h(5mph)ormore,thesafetybelt
willbecomelockedandhelpreduceyourforward
movement.
Tounfastenthebelt,pushtheredreleasebuttonon
theendofthebuckle.Thisallowsthetongueto
unlatchfromthebuckle.Whilethebeltretracts,
guidethetonguetoitsoriginalpositiontopreventit
fromstrikingyouorthevehicle.

fullyextended,20cm(8inches)canbeaddedto
thesafetybeltassemblybyaddingasafetybelt
extensionassembly(partnumber611C22).Safety
beltextensionassembliescanbeobtainedfromyour
dealeratnocost.
Useonlyextensionsmanufacturedbythesame
supplierasthesafetybelt.Manufacturer
identificationislocatedattheendofthewebbingon
thelabel.Also,usethesafetybeltextensiononlyif
thesafetybeltistooshortforyouwhenfully
extended.Donotuseextensionstochangethefitof
theshoulderbeltacrossthetorso.
