Automatic operation
PressAUTOandselectthedesiredtemperature.
TheselectedtemperatureandthewordAUTOwill
appearinthedisplaywindow.TheEATCsystemwill
eitherheatorcooltoachievetheselected
temperature.Thesystemwillautomatically
determinefanspeed,airflowlocationandiffresh
outsideairorrecirculatedairisrequired.Fanspeed
remainsautomaticunlessthefanspeedcontrolis
pressed.
WheninAUTOandweatherconditionsrequireheat,
airwillbesenttothefloor.However,iftheengineis
notwarmenoughtoprovideheat,thefanwillbeat
alowspeedandtheairwillbedirectedtothe
windshield.In3½minutesorless,thefanspeedwill
starttoincreaseandtheairflowlocationwillchange
tothefloorarea.
Ifunusualconditionsexist(i.e.-windowfogging,
etc.),themanualoverridecontrolsallowyouto
selectairflowlocationsandthefancontrolallows
youtoadjustfanspeedasnecessary.
