providetractioninrainandsnow.However,insome
climates,youmayneedtousesnowtiresand
chains.Ifyouneedtousesnowtiresandchains,itis
recommendedthatsteelwheelsareusedofthe
samesizeandspecificationsasthoseoriginally
installed.
Followtheseguidelineswhenusingsnowtiresand
chains:

UseonlySAEClassSchains.
Installchainssecurely,verifyingthatthechainsdo
nottouchanywiring,brakelinesorfuellines.

Drivecautiously.Ifyouhearthechainsrubor
bangagainstyourvehicle,stopandre-tightenthe
chains.Ifthisdoesnotwork,removethechains
topreventdamagetoyourvehicle.

Donotusetirechainsifyourvehicleisequipped
withP225/55ZR16tires.

needed.Donotusetirechainsondryroads.

preventvehicledamage.Donotremovethese
componentsfromyourvehiclewhenusingsnow
