try,turnthekeyOFFandwaittensecondsandtry
again.Iftheenginedoesnotstartintwoattempts,
depresstheacceleratorandstarttheenginewhile
holdingtheacceleratordowntothefloor.Release
theacceleratorwhentheenginestarts.

Afteridlingforafewseconds,applythebrake
andreleasetheparkingbrake.
Using the engine block heater (if equipped)
Anengineblockheaterwarmstheenginecoolant,
whichimprovesstarting,warmsuptheenginefaster
andallowstheheater-defrostersystemtorespond
quickly.Useofanengineblockheaterisstrongly
recommendedifyouliveinaregionwhere
temperaturesreach-23°C(-10°F)orbelow.
Forbestresults,plugtheheaterinatleastthree
hoursbeforestartingthevehicle.Usingtheheater
forlongerthanthreehourswillnotharmtheengine,
sotheheatercanbepluggedinthenightbefore
startingthevehicle.
Topreventelectricalshock,donotuseyour
heaterwithungroundedelectricalsystems
ortwo-pronged(cheater)adapters.
Guarding against exhaust fumes
Althoughodorlessandcolorless,carbonmonoxideis
presentinexhaustfumes.Takeprecautionstoavoid
itsdangerouseffects.
