theshoulderportionofthebelt
andpulldownwarduntilallof
thebeltisextractedandaclick
isheard.

Allowthebelttoretract.Thebeltwillclickasitretractstoindicate
itisintheautomaticlockingmode.
Pullthelapbeltportionacross
thechildseattowardthebuckle
andpullupontheshoulderbelt
whilepushingdownwithyour
kneeonthechildseat.

Allowthesafetybelttoretract
toremoveanyslackinthebelt.
Beforeplacingthechildinthe
seat,forciblytilttheseat
forwardandbacktomakesure
theseatissecurelyheldin
place.Tocheckthis,grabthe
seatatthebeltpathand
attempttomoveitsidetoside
andforwardandback.There
shouldbenomorethanone
inchofmovementforproperinstallation.

Trytopullthebeltoutoftheretractortomakesuretheretractoris
intheautomaticlockingmode(youshouldnotbeabletopullmore
beltout).Iftheretractorisnotlocked,unbucklethebeltandrepeat
stepstwothroughnine.
