Note:Replacementofthebatterywillnotcausetheremotetransmitter
tobecomedeprogrammedfromyourvehicle.Theremotetransmitter
shouldoperatenormallyafterbatteryreplacement.
Replacing lost remote entry transmitters
Ifyouwouldliketohaveyourremoteentrytransmitterreprogrammed
becauseyoulostone,orwouldliketobuyadditionalremoteentry
transmitters,youcaneitherreprogramthemyourself,ortakeall
remoteentrytransmitterstoyourauthorizedMazdadealerfor
reprogramming.
How to reprogram your remote  entry transmitters
Youmusthaveallremoteentrytransmitters(maximumoffour)
availablebeforebeginningthisprocedure.
Note:Thisproceduremustbe
completedwithinthespecified
times.Ifnotcompletedwithinthe
specifiedtimeperiod,
reprogrammingproceduresmustbe
restartedfromthebeginning.
Toreprogramtheremoteentry
transmitters:
1.
2.
3.
4.
Ensurethevehicleiselectronicallyunlocked.
Putthekeyintheignition.
Turnthekeyfromthe1(LOCK)positionto3(ON).
Cycle,eighttimes,rapidly(within10seconds)betweenthe1
(LOCK)positionand3(ON).Note:Theeighthturnmustendinthe
3
(ON)position.

Thedoorswilllock,thenunlock,toconfirmthattheprogramming
modehasbeenactivated.
Within20secondspressanybuttonontheremoteentrytransmitter.
Note:Ifmorethan20secondshavepassedyouwillneedtostart
theprocedureoveragain.
