Locking the doors
1.
Press
andreleasetolockallthedoors.Theparklampswillflash
onceandtheperimeteralarm(ifequipped)willbestartthearming
process.Formoreinformationconcerningtheperimeteralarm,refer
toPerimeteralarmsystem(ifequipped)laterinthischapter.
2.
Press
andreleaseagainwithinthreesecondstoconfirmthatall
thedoorsareclosedandlocked.
Ifanyofthedoorsorthehoodarenotproperlyclosedthehornwillnot
soundandtheparklampswillnotflash.
Sounding a personal alarm
Press
toactivatethealarm.Thehornwillsoundforamaximumof
30
secondsandtheparklampswillflashforamaximumof3minutes.
PressagainorturntheignitiontoONtodeactivate,orwaitforthealarm
totimeoutin3minutes.
Note:Thepersonalalarmwillonlyoperatewhentheignitionisinthe
OFForACCposition.
Replacing the battery
Theremoteentrytransmitterusesonecointypethree-voltlithium
batteryCR2032orequivalent.Thetypicaloperatingrangeforyour
remoteentrytransmitterisapproximately10meters(33feet).A
decreaseintheoperatingrangecouldbecausedby:

weatherconditions,
nearbyradiotowers,
structuresaroundthevehicleand
othervehiclesparkednexttothevehicle.
Toreplacethebattery:
1.
Twistathincoinbetweenthe
twohalvesoftheremoteentry
transmitternearthekeyring.
DONOTTAKETHEFRONT
PARTOFTHEREMOTE
ENTRYTRANSMITTER
APART.Damagetothe
transmittermayresultin
operationfailure.
2.
Removetheoldbattery.
