Tooperatetheshade:
1.
Graspthepulltubeatthe
rearwardedgeoftheshadeand
pullrearward.
2.
Securebothendsofthepull
tubeintheretentionslotslocatedonthereartrimpanels.
WARNING: Ensurethatthepostsareproperlylatchedin
mountingfeatures.Thecovermaycauseinjuryinasuddenstop
oraccidentifitisnotsecurelyinstalled.
WARNING: Donotplaceanyobjectsonthecargoareashade.
Theymayobstructyourvisionorstrikeoccupantsofvehiclein
thecaseofasuddenstoporcollision.
LIFTGATE
Toopentherearwindow,pullthe
rightsideoftheliftgatehandle.
Toopentheliftgate,pulltheleft
sideoftheliftgatehandle.
•
Donotopentheliftgateor
liftgateglassinagarageorother
enclosedareawithalowceiling.
Iftheliftgateglassisraisedand
theliftgateisalsoopened,both
liftgateandglasscouldbe
damagedagainstalowceiling.
•
Donotleavetheliftgateorliftgateglassopenwhiledriving.Doingso
couldcauseseriousdamagetotheliftgateanditscomponentsaswell
asallowingcarbonmonoxidetoenterthevehicle.
