from the veh icle’s battery, even when not in use (i.e.
cellu lar phones, etc.). Even tually, if plugged in lon g
enough, the veh icle’s battery will disch arge sufficien tly
to degrad e battery life and/or preven t engin e startin g.
The passenger side and center console outlets are pro-
tected by an autom atic reset circuit breaker. The auto-
matic circuit breaker restores power when the overload is
rem oved .
• Accessories that draw high er power
(i.e. coolers,
vacu um clean ers, ligh ts, etc.), will degrad e the battery
even more quickly. Only use these interm itten tly and
with greater caution .
NOTE: If desired , the fourth power outlet in the rear
cargo area can be converted by you r authorized dealer to
provid e power with the ignition switch in the OFF
position.

After the use of high power draw accessories, or lon g
period s of the veh icle not bein g started (with accesso-
ries still plugged in), the veh icle must be driven a
sufficien t len gth of tim e to allow the altern ator to
rech arge the veh icle’s battery.
Pow er outlets are design ed for accessory plugs only. Do
not hang any typ e of accessory or accessory brack et from
the plug. Improp er use of the power outlet can cause
