UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL
Seek
Fade
Press and release the SEEK button to search for the next
station in either the AM, FM or Satellite mode. Press the
top of the button to seek up and the bottom to seek down.
The rad io will rem ain tuned to the new station until you
make another selection. Holding the button in will by-
pass stations withou t stop ping until you release it.
The Fade control provid es for balance betw een the front
and rear speakers. Press the AUDIO button, select FADE,
then turn the volu me knob to adjust the fade balance.
Tone Con trol
The Bass and / or Treble controls sou nd for the desired
tone. Press the AUDIO button, select Bass or TREBLE,
then turn the volu me knob to increase or decrease
amplification of the band .
Tuning
Press the TUNE control up or down to increase or
decrease the frequ ency. If you press and hold the button,
the rad io will continu e to tune until you release the
button. The frequ ency will be displayed and continu -
ously updated while the button is pressed .
To Set The Rad io Push-Button Memory
When you are receiving a station that you wish to
commit to push-bu tton memory, press the SET button.
SET 1 will show in the display wind ow. Select the
push-bu tton you wish to lock onto this station and press
and release that button. If a station is not selected within
5 second s after pressing the SET button, the station will
continu e to play but will not be locked into push-bu tton
memory.
Balan ce
The Balance control adjusts the left-to-right speaker bal-
ance. Press the AUDIO button, select BALANCE, then
turn the volu me knob to adjust the balance.
