FUEL REQUIREMENTS
Your vehicle is designed to meet all emis-
sions regu lations and provid e satisfactory
fuel econom y and perform ance when us-
ing high quality unlead ed gasoline having
an octane range of 87 to 89 or higher. The
manu factu rer recom mend s the use of 89

The suggested rotation method is the “forw ard -cross”

Light spark knock at low engine speed s is not harm ful to 5
you r engine. However, continu ed heavy spark knock at
high speed s can cause damage and immediate service is
requ ired . Engine damage resu lting from operating with a
heavy spark knock may not be covered by the new
vehicle warranty.
Poor quality gasoline can cause problem s such as hard
starting, stalling and hesitations. If you experience these
sym ptom s, try another brand of gasoline before consid -
ering service for the vehicle.
