Turning Con firm ation Prom pts On/Off
Turning confirm ation prom pts off will stop the system
from confirm ing you r choices (e.g. the UConnect™ sys-
tem will not rep eat a phone nu mber before you dial it).
Barge In - Overrid ing Prom pts
• Press the ’Phone’ button to begin.

The ’Voice Recognition’ button can be used when you
wish to skip part of a prom pt and issu e you r voice
recognition command immediately. For exam ple, if a
prom pt is playing ЉWould you like to pair a phone, clear
aѧЉ, you could press the ’Voice Recognition’ button and
say ЉPair A PhoneЉ to select that option withou t having to
listen to the rest of the voice prom pt.

After the ЉRead yЉ prom pt, say ЉSetup Confirm ationЉ.
The UConnect™ system will play the current confir-
mation prom pt statu s and you will be given the choice
to change it.
Low Sign al, Battery Stren gth , and Roam
Notification
The UConnect™ system will provid e notification to
inform you if you r cellular phone is in roam ing statu s,
has low signal strength, or has a low battery when you
are trying to place a phone call.
Language Selection
To change the langu age that the UConnect™ system is
using, press the ’Phone’ button and say the nam e of the
langu age you wish to switch to (English, Español, or
Français as equ ipped). After selecting one of the lan-
guages, all prom pts and voice command s will be in the
selected langu age.
