THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
The power liftgate may also be opened by pressing the
switch located on the overhead console.
WARN ING!
Durin g power operation , person al injury or cargo
damage may occur. Ensure the liftgate travel path is
clear. Make sure the liftgate is closed and latch ed
before drivin g away.
NOTE:
•
If anything obstru cts the power liftgate while it is
closing or opening, the liftgate will autom atically
reverse to the closed or open position, provid ed it
meets sufficient resistance.
•
There are also pinch sensors attached to the side of the
liftgate. Light pressu re anyw here along these strip s
will cause the liftgate to retu rn to the open position.
A beep ing signal will sou nd two second s before the
liftgate starts to open or close.
