The Driver Inflatable Knee Blocker inflates rearw ard
tow ard s the driver’s knees to help protect the knees
and position you for the best interaction with the front
airbag. The Driver Inflatable Knee Blocker fully in-
flates in abou t 50 millisecond s, this is only abou t half
of the time it takes you to blink you r eyes. It then
quickly deflates while help ing to protect the driver’s
knees.

If An Airb ag Deploym ent Occurs
The airbag system s are designed to deploy when the
airbag control modules detect a moderate-to-severe col-
lision, to help restrain the driver and front passenger, and
then immediately deflate.

The Knee Impact Block ers help protect the knees and
position you for the best interaction with the front
airbags.
NOTE: A collision that is not severe enou gh to need
airbag protection will not activate the system . This does
not mean som ething is wrong with the airbag system .
