Remove and rep lace the battery. Avoid tou ching the
horn after three minu tes and after 15 minu tes of light

This system monitors the vehicle doors and ignition
switch for unau thorized entry or operation. When the
alarm is activated , the system provid es both audible and
visu al signals. The horn will pulse, head lights/ park
lights will flash, the Vehicle Theft Alarm / Immobilizer
light, located on the instru ment panel below the Elec-
tronic Vehicle Inform ation Center buttons will flash, and
the vehicle will not start. If the alarm is triggered and no
action is taken to disarm it, the system will turn off the
After the last door is closed , or if all doors are closed , the
system will arm itself in abou t 16 second s. During that
time, the Vehicle Theft Alarm / Immobilizer light will
flash. If it does not illuminate, the system is not arm ing.
If you open a door during this arm ing period , the system
will cancel the arm ing process. You must rep eat one of
the previou sly described arm ing sequ ences to rearm the
system .
