Insertin g The Com pact Disc
Seek
Press the top of the SEEK button for the next selection on
the CD. Press the bottom of the button to retu rn to the
beginning of the current selection, or retu rn to the
beginning of the previou s selection if the CD is within the
first 10 second s of the current selection.
CAUTIO N!
This CD player will accep t only 4–3/4 inch (12cm)
discs only. The use of oth er sized discs may damage
the CD player mechanism .
EJT — Eject
Press the EJT button and the disc will unload and move
to the entrance for easy rem oval. The unit will switch to
the rad io mode.
You may either insert or eject a disc with the rad io OFF.
If you insert a disc with the ignition ON and the rad io
OFF, the display will show the time of day. If you insert
a disc with the ignition OFF, the display will show the
time of day for abou t 5 second s, then go out.
If you do not rem ove the disc within 15 second s, it will be
reload ed. The rad io mode will continu e to appear.
The disc can be ejected with the rad io OFF.
If the power is ON, the unit will switch from rad io to CD
mode and begin to play when you insert the disc. The
display will show the track nu mber and ind ex time in
minu tes and second s. Play will begin at the start of
track 1.
FF/TUN E/RW
Press FF (Fast Forw ard ) and the CD player will begin to
fast forw ard until FF is released . The RW ( Reverse)
button works in a similar manner.
