Toshiftuptoahighergear,taptheshift
leverback(   )once.
Ifthegearscannotbeshifteddown
whendrivingathigherspeeds,the
gearpositionindicatorwillflash
twicetosignalthatthegearscannot
beshifteddown.

Iftheautomatictransmissionfluid
(ATF)temperaturebecomestoo
high,thereisthepossibilitythatthe
transmissionwillswitchtoautomatic
shiftmode,cancelingmanualshift
modeandturningoffthegear
positionindicatorillumination.This
isanormalfunctiontoprotectthe
AT.AftertheATFtemperaturehas
decreased,thegearpositionindicator
illuminationturnsbackonand
drivinginmanualshiftmodeis
restored.

Youcanshiftgearsupanddownby
operatingtheshiftleverorthesteering
shiftswitches.
