makesurebothofthecables

Keepterminalsandconnectionsclean,

tight,andcoatedwithpetroleumjelly

orterminalgrease.

connectingthenegativebattery

terminal(rightsideofbattery)are

connectedwiththecablesrouted

towardtherightandbackofthe

batteryasshowninthefigure.

Rinseoffspilledelectrolyte

immediatelywithasolutionofwater

andbakingsoda.

Ifthevehiclewillnotbeusedforan

extendedtime,disconnectthebattery

cables.
