chemicalsknowntotheStateofCaliforniatocausecancerandreproductiveharm.

Readthefollowingprecautionscarefullybeforeusingthebatteryorinspecting

toensuresafeandcorrecthandling:

Alwaysweareyeprotectionwhenworkingnearthebattery:

Workingwithouteyeprotectionisdangerous.BatteryfluidcontainsSULFURIC

ACIDwhichcouldcauseblindnessifsplashedintoyoureyes.Also,hydrogengas

producedduringnormalbatteryoperation,couldigniteandcausethebatteryto

explode.

Weareyeprotectionandprotectiveglovestopreventcontactwithbatteryfluid:

Spilledbatteryfluidisdangerous.

BatteryfluidcontainsSULFURICACIDwhichcouldcauseseriousinjuriesifitgets

ineyes,orontheskinorclothing.Ifthishappens,immediatelyflushyoureyeswith

waterfor15minutesorwashyourskinthoroughlyandgetmedicalattention.

Alwayskeepbatteriesoutofthereachofchildren:

Allowingchildrentoplaynearbatteriesisdangerous.Batteryfluidcouldcause

seriousinjuriesifitgetsintheeyesorontheskin.

Keepflamesandsparksawayfromopenbatterycellsanddonotallowmetal

toolstocontactthepositive( )ornegative( )terminalofthebatterywhenworking

nearabattery.Donotallowthepositive( )terminaltocontactthevehiclebody:

Flamesandsparksnearopenbatterycellsaredangerous.Hydrogengas,produced

duringnormalbatteryoperation,couldigniteandcausethebatterytoexplode.An

explodingbatterycancauseseriousburnsandinjuries.Keepallflamesincluding

cigarettesandsparksawayfromopenbatterycells.
