thanFL22typeisused,theengine
coolantmustbereplacedearlierthan
thespecifiedreplacementinterval
indicatedinthescheduledmaintenance
(page8-3).
CAUTION
Radiatorcoolantwilldamagepaint.

Rinseitoffquicklyifspilled.
Useonlysoft(demineralized)water

inthecoolantmixture.Waterthat
containsmineralswillcutdownon
thecoolant'seffectiveness.
Don'taddonlywater.Alwaysadda

propercoolantmixture.
Theenginehasaluminumpartsand

mustbeprotectedbyanethylene-
glycol-basedcoolanttoprevent
corrosionandfreezing.
DONOTUSEcoolantsContaining

Alcohol,methanol,Borateor

Thesecoolantscoulddamagethe
coolingsystem.
Ifthecoolantreservoirisemptyornew
coolantisrequiredfrequently,consultan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.
DONOTMIXalcoholormethanol

withthecoolant.Thiscoulddamage
thecoolingsystem.
Don'tuseasolutionthatcontains

morethan60%antifreeze.
Thiswouldreduceeffectiveness.
