TheDSCmaynotoperatecorrectly
unlessthefollowingareobserved:

Usetiresofthecorrectsize
specifiedforyourMazdaonall
fourwheels.
qDSCOFFIndicatorLight
l
Usetiresofthesame
l
manufacturer,brandandtread
patternonallfourwheels.
Donotmixworntires.
l
TheDSCmaynotoperatecorrectly
l
whentirechainsareusedora
temporarysparetireisinstalled
becausethetirediameterchanges.
Thisindicatorlightstaysonforafew
secondswhentheignitionswitchisturned
totheONposition.
ItalsocomesonwhentheDSCOFF
switchispressedandTCS/DSCis
switchedoff(page5-26).
Ifrepairorreplacementofthe
l
steeringorothersurrounding
equipmentisnecessary,haveitdone
atanAuthorizedMazdaDealer.If
thecenterpositionofthesteering
deviates,theDSCmaynotoperate
correctlybecausethereisasensorin
thesteeringwhichdetectsdriving
conditions.
IfthelightstaysonwhentheTCS/DSCis
notswitchedoff,takeyourvehicletoan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.Thedynamic
stabilitycontrolmayhaveamalfunction.
qTCS/DSCIndicatorLight
Thisindicatorlightstaysonforafew
secondswhentheignitionswitchisturned
totheONposition.IftheTCSorDSCis
operating,theindicatorlightflashes.
