Therearwindowdefrosterclearsfrost,
fog,andthinicefromtherearwindow.
TheignitionswitchmustbeintheON
position.
OFF
Presstheswitchtoturnontherear
windowdefroster,theindicatorlightwill
illuminate.
Washer
Presstheswitchagaintoturnitoff.
NOTE
WiththewiperleverintheOFForINT
position,thewiperswilloperate
Indicator light
continuouslyuntiltheleverisreleased.
Ifthewasherdoesn'twork,inspectthe
fluidlevel(page8-27).Ifit'sOK,consult
anAuthorizedMazdaDealer.
CAUTION
Don'tusesharpinstrumentsorwindow
cleanerswithabrasivestocleanthe
insideoftherearwindowsurface.They
maydamagethedefrostergridinside
thewindow.
NOTE
Thisdefrosterisnotdesignedfor
meltingsnow.Ifthereisan
accumulationofsnowontherear
window,removeitbeforeusingthe
defroster.
