WARNING:Before
returningtheseatbacktoits
originalposition,makesurethat
cargooranyobjectsarenot
trappedbehindtheseatback.After
returningtheseatbacktoits
originalposition,pullonthe
seatbacktoensurethatithasfully
latched.Anunlatchedseatmay
becomedangerousintheeventof
asuddenstoporcollision.
Adjusting the front power  seat (if equipped)
WARNING:Neveradjustthedriver’sseatorseatbackwhenthe
vehicleismoving.
WARNING:Donotpilecargohigherthantheseatbacksto
reducetheriskofinjuryinacollisionorsuddenstop.
WARNING:Alwaysdriveandridewithyourseatbackupright
andthelapbeltsnugandlowacrossthehips.
WARNING:Recliningtheseatbackcancauseanoccupantto
slideundertheseat’ssafetybelt,resultinginseverepersonal
injuriesintheeventofacollision.
WARNING:Sittingimproperlyoutofpositionorwiththeseat
backreclinedtoofarcantakeoffweightfromtheseatcushion
andaffectthedecisionofthepassengersensingsystem,resultingin
seriousinjuryordeathinacrash.Alwayssituprightagainstyour
seatback,withyourfeetonthefloor.
