twoIntegratedKeyhead
Transmitters(IKTs).Thekeyblade
functionsasaprogrammedkey
whichstartsthevehicleand
unlocks/locksallthedoors.The
transmitterportionfunctionsasthe
remoteentrytransmitter.
YourIKTsareprogrammedtoyourvehicle;usinganon-programmedkey
willnotpermityourvehicletostart.Ifyouloseyourauthorizeddealer
suppliedIKTs,replacementIKTsareavailablethroughyourauthorized
dealer.StandardSecuriLock௡keyswithoutremoteentrytransmitter
functionalitycanalsobepurchasedfromyourauthorizeddealerif
desired.
Alwayscarryasparekeywithyouincaseofanemergency.
FormoreinformationregardingprogrammingreplacementIKTs,referto
theSecuriLock௡passiveanti-theftsystemsectionlaterinthischapter.

Recommended handling of the  Integrated Keyhead Transmitter
(IKT)
Toavoidinadvertentlyactivatingtheremoteentryfunctionsofyour
vehicle,itisrecommendedthattheIntegratedKeyheadTransmitter
(IKT)behandledproperlywhenstartingandturningoffyourvehicle.
