Thisisnecessarytoremovethe
remainingslackthatwillexistonce
theadditionalweightofthechildis
addedtothechildrestraint.Italso
helpstoachievetheproper
snugnessofthechildseattothe
vehicle.Sometimes,aslightlean
towardsthebucklewilladditionally
helptoremoveremainingslackfromthebelt.

seat,forciblymovetheseatforward
andbacktomakesuretheseatis
securelyheldinplace.Tocheck
this,grabtheseatatthebeltpath
andattempttomoveitsidetoside
andforwardandback.Thereshould
benomorethan1inch(2.5cm)of
movementforproperinstallation.
