Ifyouarestowingtheflattire:
1.
Removetheextensionboltfrom
theexteriorpocketofthefeltbag.
2.
Step4underStowingthetireand
jack.
Installthejackasshownin
3.
Screwtheextensionboltontothe
threadedstudofthejackretention
bracket.
4.
Withthetemporarysparetireon
thevehicle,placetheflattireinthe
sparetirewellwiththewheelfacingup.
5.
Safelysecurethewheelbyscrewingthelargewingnutontothe
extensionbolt.
Ifyouarestowingthetemporarysparetire,placethetireoverthe
jackandsecureitwiththelargewingnut.
WHEEL LUG NUT TORQUE  SPECIFICATIONS
Retightenthelugnutstothespecifiedtorqueat100miles(160km)
afteranywheeldisturbance(tirerotation,changingaflattire,wheel
removal,etc.).

rust.UseonlyFordrecommendedreplacementfasteners.
WARNING:Whenawheelisinstalled,alwaysremoveany
corrosion,dirtorforeignmaterialspresentonthemounting
surfacesofthewheelorthesurfaceofthewheelhub,brakedrumor
brakediscthatcontactsthewheel.Ensurethatanyfastenersthat
attachtherotortothehubaresecuredsotheydonotinterferewith
themountingsurfacesofthewheel.Installingwheelswithoutcorrect
metal-to-metalcontactatthewheelmountingsurfacescancausethe
wheelnutstoloosenandthewheeltocomeoffwhilethevehicleisin
motion,resultinginlossofcontrol.
