hand-heldtransmitter1–3inches
(2–8
cm)awayfromtheHomeLink௡
buttonyouwishtoprogram(located
onyourvisor)whilekeepingthe
indicatorlightinview.

Simultaneouslypressandhold
boththechosenHomeLink௡and
hand-heldtransmitterbuttonsuntiltheHomeLink௡indicatorlight
changesfromaslowtoarapidlyblinkinglight.Nowyoumayrelease
boththeHomeLink௡andhand-heldtransmitterbuttons.
Note:Someentrygatesandgaragedooropenersmayrequireyouto
replaceStep2withproceduresnotedintheGateOperatorand
CanadianProgramminginthissectionforCanadianresidents.

Firmlypressandholdforfivesecondsandreleasethe
programmedHomeLink௡buttonuptotwoseparatetimestoactivatethe
door.Ifthedoordoesnotactivate,pressandholdthejust-trained
HomeLink௡buttonandobservetheindicatorlight.

Iftheindicatorlightstaysonconstantly,programmingiscomplete
andyourdeviceshouldactivatewhentheHomeLink௡buttonispressed
andreleased.
•
Iftheindicatorlightblinksrapidlyfortwosecondsandthenturns
toaconstantlightcontinuewith“Programming”Steps4through
tocompleteprogrammingofarollingcodeequippeddevice(most
commonlyagaragedooropener).

releasetheprogrammedHomeLink௡button.Repeatthe
press/hold/releasesequenceagainand,dependingonthebrandofthe
garagedooropener(orotherrollingcodeequippeddevice),repeatthis
sequenceathirdtimetocompletetheprogramming.
