WARNING:Tohelppreventthevehiclefrommovingwhenyou
changeatire,besuretoplacethetransmissioninP(Park),set
theparkingbrakeandblock(inbothdirections)thewheelthatis
diagonallyopposite(othersideandendofthevehicle)tothetire
beingchanged.
WARNING:Ifthevehicleslipsoffthejack,youorsomeoneelse
couldbeseriouslyinjured.
WARNING:Donotattempttochangeatireonthesideofthe
vehicleclosetomovingtraffic.Pullfarenoughofftheroadto
avoidthedangerofbeinghitwhenoperatingthejackorchangingthe
wheel.

Blockthediagonallyopposite
wheel.
2.
Removewheelcover(if
equipped)withthelugwrenchtip
andlooseneachwheellugnut
one-halfturncounterclockwisebut
donotremovethemuntilthewheel
israisedofftheground.
WARNING:Tolessentheriskofpersonalinjury,donotputany
partofyourbodyunderthevehiclewhilechangingatire.Donot
starttheenginewhenyourvehicleisonthejack.Thejackisonly
meantforchangingthetire.
