closedupinsunnyweather;theycouldburnasmallchild.Check
seatcoversandbucklesbeforeyouplaceachildanywherenearthem.
Combination lap and shoulder belts

Insertthebelttongueintothe
properbuckle(thebuckleclosestto
thedirectionthetongueiscoming
from)untilyouhearasnapandfeel
itlatch.Makesurethetongueis
securelyfastenedinthebuckle.
2.
buttonandremovethetonguefrom
thebuckle.
Tounfasten,pushtherelease
Thefrontandrearoutboardsafetyrestraintsinthevehicleare
combinationlapandshoulderbelts.Thefrontpassengerandrearseat
outboardsafetybeltshavetwotypesoflockingmodesdescribedbelow:
Vehicle sensitive mode
Thevehiclesensitivemodeisthenormalretractormode,allowingfree
shoulderbeltlengthadjustmenttoyourmovementsandlockingin
responsetovehiclemovement.Forexample,ifthedriverbrakes
suddenlyorturnsacornersharply,orthevehiclereceivesanimpactof
approximately8km/h(5mph)ormore,thecombinationsafetybeltswill
locktohelpreduceforwardmovementofthedriverandpassengers.
