Replacing headlamp bulbs (aerodynamic)

enginecompartmentandliftupward

tothestopposition.

MakesureheadlampswitchisintheOFFposition.

Openthehood.

Pusheachcliptabtowardthe

Removetheheadlampassembly.

Disconnecttheelectrical

connectorfromthebulbbypulling

rearward.

Removethebulbretainingringby

rotatingitcounterclockwise(when

viewedfromtherear)tofreeit

fromthebulbsocket,andslidethe

ringofftheplasticbase.Keepthe

ringtoretainthenewbulb.

Withoutturning,removetheold

bulbfromlampassemblybygently

pullingitstraightbackoutofthe

lampassemblyandreplace.

Toinstallthenewbulb:

Handleahalogenheadlampbulbcarefullyandkeepoutof

children’sreach.Graspthebulbonlybyitsplasticbaseanddo

nottouchtheglass.Theoilfromyourhandcouldcausethebulbto

breakthenexttimetheheadlampsareoperated.

Withtheflatsideofthebulb’splasticbasefacingupward,insertthe

glassendofthebulbintothelampassembly.Youmayneedtoturnthe

bulbleftorrighttoalignthegroovesintheplasticbasewiththetabsin
