Afteratleastthreetofivetankfill-ups,fillthefueltankandrecord
thecurrentodometerreading.
4.
Subtractyourinitialodometerreadingfromthecurrentodometer
reading.
5.
Followoneofthesimplecalculationsinordertodeterminefuel
economy:
Calculation1:Multiplylitersusedby100,thendividebytotal
kilometerstraveled.
Calculation2:Dividetotalmilestraveledbytotalgallonsused.
Keeparecordforatleastonemonthandrecordthetypeofdriving(city
orhighway).Thiswillprovideanaccurateestimateofthevehicle’ sfuel
