Placethejackunderthepinonthe
frontsurfaceofthefrontaxle.
Donotplacethejackunderor
onthesteeringlinkage.

Turnthejackhandleclockwise
untilthewheeliscompletelyoff
theground.
•

Removethelugnutswiththelug
nutwrench.
Replacetheflattirewiththe
sparetire.
Frontaxlejackingpoints-
E-550:
Placethejackunderthefrontaxle
directlybelowthesprings.
Donotplacethejackunderor
onthesteeringlinkage.
•
Slidethenotchedendofthejack
handleoverthereleasevalveandusethehandletoslidethejack
underthevehicle.Makesurethevalveisclosedbyturningit
clockwise.
•

Insertthejackhandleintothe
pumplinkage.
Useanup-and-downmotionwith
thejackhandletoraisethewheel
completelyofftheground.
Ifyourvehiclehassinglerearwheels,threadthelugnutsonthestuds
withthebeveledfacetowardthewheel.
Ifyourvehiclehasdualrearwheels,threadthetwoelementswiveling
lugnutsonthestudswiththeflangefacingtowardthewheel.
