Toreducehumiditybuildupinsidethevehicle,donotdrivewiththe
climatecontrolsystemintheOFFposition.
Undernormalweatherconditions,yourvehicle’sclimatecontrol
systemshouldbeleftinanypositionotherthanOFFpositionwhen
thevehicleisparked.Thisallowsthevehicleto“breathe”throughthe
outsideairinletduct.

Undersnowyordirtyweatherconditions,yourvehicle’ sclimate
controlsystemshouldbeleftintheOFFpositionwhenthevehicleis
parked.Thisallowstheclimatecontrolsystemtobefreefrom
contaminationofoutsidepollutants.

Donotplaceobjectsunderthefrontseatwhichmayinterferewith
theairflowtotherearseats(ifequipped).
Removeanysnow,ice,orleavesfromtheairintakearea(atthebase
ofthewindshieldandunderneaththehood).
Donotplaceobjectsoverthedefrosteroutlets.Theseobjectsmay
blockairflowandreduceyourvisibilitythroughthewindshield.Avoid
placingsmallobjectsontopoftheinstrumentpanel.Theseobjects
canfallintothedefrosteroutletsandblockairflow,inadditionto,
damagingyourclimatecontrolsystem.
Donotplaceobjectsontopoftheinstrumentpanel,asthese
objectsmaybecomeprojectilesinacollisionorsuddenstop.
