operation,ejectsthecassetteandtheWAITindicatorilluminates.The
lampwillremainilluminateduntilthesystemisdryenoughtooperate
safely.
Cleaning video heads
Magneticvideoheadsconvertthevideocassetteintopicturesonthe
screenduringplayback.Overaperiodoftime,particlesruboffthetape
andareleftontheheads.Usinganoldorpoorqualitytapetogetherwith
dustandairparticles,hightemperatureandhumiditycausedirtyheads.
Dirtyheadsgenerallycause“snowy”picturesand,insomeseverecases,
blurredorinterruptedpictures.Avarietyofproductsareavailableat
videostorestocleantapeheads.Usetheseproductssparingly,because
someareabrasivetothevideoheads.Ifnormalheadcleaning
proceduresdonotresolvetheproblem,havethesystemcheckedbya
servicetechnician.

compartment.Beespeciallycarefulnottospillliquidsofanykindonto
themediacontrolsorintothevideocassetteplayer.Ifliquidis
accidentallyspilledontothesystem,immediatelyturnthesystemOFF
andconsultaqualifiedservicetechnician.
