Drivingthevehiclewiththeparking
brakeappliedcandamagetherear
brakesandaxles.Abeeperwillsound
if thevehicleisdrivenwiththeparking
brakeon.
Toapplytheparkingbrake,pullthe
leverupfully.Toreleaseit,pullup
slightly,pushthebutton,andlower
thelever.Theparkingbrake
indicatorontheinstrumentpanel
shouldgooutwhentheparking
brakeisfullyreleased(seepage59).
