mayuseanSAE10W-30or10W-40
viscositymotoroilwiththeAPI
Certificationsealthatsays‘‘FOR
GASOLINEENGINES’’asa
temporaryreplacement.However,
motoroildoesnotcontaintheproper
additives,andcontinuedusecan
causestiffershifting.Replaceas
soonasitisconvenient.
DRAINBOLT
Checkthefluidlevelwiththe
transmissionatnormaloperating
temperatureandthevehiclesitting
onlevelground.Removethecheck
bolt,andlookfortransmissionfluid
comingoutofthebolthole.Ifasmall
amountoffluiddripsoutofthebolt
hole,reinstallthecheckbolt.
Thetransmissionshouldbedrained
andrefilledwithnewfluidwhenthis
serviceisshownonamaintenance
messageinthemulti-information
display.
