mark,addfluidintothefillerhole
tobringittothelevelbetweenthe
upperandlowermarksonthe
dipstick.
6.Insertthedipstickallthewayback
intothetransmission.
Thetransmissionshouldbedrained
andrefilledwithnewfluidwhenthis
serviceisshownonamaintenance
messageinthemulti-information
display.
Pourthefluidslowlyandcarefully
soyoudonotspillany.Cleanup
anyspillimmediately;itcould
damagecomponentsintheengine
compartment.
Ifyouarenotsurehowtocheckand
addfluid,contactyourdealer.
AlwaysuseHondaATF-Z1
(automatictransmissionfluid).If
it’snotavailable,youmayusea
DEXRON IIIautomatic
transmissionfluidasatemporary
replacement.However,continued
usecanaffecttheshiftquality.
Havethetransmissionflushedand
refilledwithHondaATF-Z1as
soonasitisconvenient.
