Theautomaticlightingofffeature
turnsofftheheadlights,allother
exteriorlights,andtheinstrument
panellightswithin15secondsof
removingthekeyfromtheignition
switchandclosingthedriver’sdoor.
Ifyouremovethekeyfromthe
DaytimeRunningLights
ignitionswitchwiththeheadlight
switchon,butdonotopenthedoor
andgetout,thelightsturnoffafter
10minutes.
Withtheheadlightswitchoff,the
daytimerunninglightscomeon
whenyouturntheignitionswitchto
theON(II)positionandreleasethe
parkingbrake.Theyremainonuntil
youturntheignitionoff,evenifyou
settheparkingbrake.
Thelightsturnonagainwhenyou
unlockoropenthedriver’sdoor.
Ifyouunlockthedoor,butdonot
openitwithin15seconds,thelights
gooff.Withthedriver’sdooropen,
youwillhearalights-onreminder
chime.

Theautomaticlightingofffeature
activatesifyouleavetheheadlight
switchinthe‘‘
’’or‘‘
’’
positionorifthelightsareturnedon
bysettingtheswitchinthe‘‘AUTO’’
position,removethekey,thenopen
andclosethedriver’sdoor.
