SCAN－Thescanfunctiongives
youasamplingofallchannelswhile
inthechannelmode.Inthecategory
mode,onlythestationswithinthat
categoryarescanned.Toactivate
scan,presstheSCANbuttonor
touchtheSCANiconontheaudio
display.Thesystemplayseach
channelinnumericalorderfor10
seconds.Whenyouhearachannel
youwanttocontinuelisteningto,
presstheSCANbuttonortouchthe
iconagain.
Preset－Youcanstoreupto12
presetchannelsusingthesixpreset
buttonsorpreseticons.Eachbutton
storesonechannelfromtheXM1
bandandonechannelfromtheXM2
band.
3.Pickthepresetbutton(icon)you
wantforthatchannel.Pressand
holdthebutton(icon)untilyou
hearabeep.
4.Repeatsteps2and3tostorethe
firstsixchannels.
Tostoreachannel:
1.PresstheXMbutton.EitherXM1
orXM2willshowinthedisplay.
5.PresstheXMbuttonagain.The
otherXMbandwillshow.Store
thenextsixchannelsusingsteps2
and3.
2.UsetheTUNEknob,orthe
CATEGORYorSCANbuttonsto
tunetoadesiredchannel.
Onceachannelisstored,simply
pressandreleasetheproperpreset
button(icon)totunetoit.
Incategorymode,onlychannels
withinthatcategorycanbeselected.
Inchannelmode,allchannelscanbe
selected.
