whenyourvehiclewasnew.Ifyou
regularlycarryheavyitemsinthe
trunk,readjustmentmayberequired.
Adjustmentshouldbedonebyyour
dealerorotherqualifiedmechanic.
1.Removetheleftorrightside
enginecompartmentcoverfrom
thesideyouareworkingonby
carefullypullingthecoverout.
Headlights
Theheadlightbulbsareatypeof
highvoltagedischargetube.High
voltagecanremaininthecircuit
Halogenbulbsgetveryhotwhenlit.Oil,
perspiration,orascratchontheglass
evenwiththelightswitchoffandthe cancausethebulbtooverheatand
keyremoved.Becauseofthis,you
shouldnotattempttoexamineor
changeaheadlightbulbyourself.Ifa
headlightbulbfails,takeyour
shatter.
Ifyouarereplacingthebulbon
thedriver’sside,removetheair
intakecoverbyremovingthetwo
fastenerpinsandpullingthecover
out.Thenremovetheupperpart
oftheairintakeductbypullingit
straightup.
