hinges.
CheckingandReplacingFuses
Ifsomethingelectricalinyour
1.Turntheignitionswitchtothe
LOCK(0)position.Makesurethe
headlightsandallother
vehiclestopsworking,checkfora
blownfusefirst.Determinefromthe
chartonpages329and330,orthe
diagramonthefuseboxlid,which
fusescontrolthatdevice.Check
thosefusesfirst,butcheckallthe
fusesbeforedecidingthatablown
fuseisthecause.Replaceanyblown
fuses,andcheckifthedeviceworks.
accessoriesareoff.
2.Removethecoverfromthefuse
box.
3.Checkeachofthelargefusesin
theunder-hoodfuseboxby
lookingthroughthetopatthewire
inside.Removethescrewswitha
Phillips-headscrewdriver.
Theunder-hoodfuseboxisonthe
driver’ssidenexttotheaircleaner
housing.
