SCAN－Thescanfunctiongives
yousamplingofallchannelswhilein
thechannelmode.Inthecategory
mode,onlythestationswithinthat
categoryarescanned.Toactivate
scan,presstheSCANbutton.The
systemplayseachchannelin
numericalorderfor10seconds,then
selectsthenextchannel.Whenyou
hearachannelyouwanttocontinue
listeningto,presstheSCANbutton
again.
Preset－Youcanstoreupto12
presetchannelsusingthesixpreset
buttons.Eachbuttonstoresone
channelfromtheXM1bandandone
channelfromtheXM2band.
3.Pickthepresetbuttonyouwant
forthatchannel.Pressandhold
thebuttonuntilyouhearabeep.
4.Repeatsteps2and3tostorethe
firstsixchannels.
Tostoreachannel:
1.PresstheXMbutton.EitherXM1
orXM2willshowinthedisplay.
5.PresstheXMbuttonagain.The
otherXMbandwillshow.Store
thenextsixchannelsusingsteps2
and3.
2.UsetheTUNEknob,orthe
CATEGORYorSCANbuttonsto
tunetoadesiredchannel.
Onceachannelisstored,simply
pressandreleasetheproperpreset
buttontotunetoit.
Incategorymode,onlychannels
withinthatcategorycanbeselected.
Inchannelmode,allchannelscanbe
selected.
