emissionssystem,themalfunction
indicatorlamp(MIL)comeson.If
thefuelfillcapwasnotalready
tightened,turntheengineoff,and
checkorretightenthefuelfillcap
untilitclicksatleastonce.The
MILshouldgooffafterseveral
daysofnormaldrivingoncethe
capistightenedorreplaced.Ifthe
MILdoesnotgooff,haveyour
vehicleinspectedbyadealer.For

.Parkthevehicle,andsetthe
parkingbrake.Pullthehood
releasehandlelocatedunderthe
lowerleftcornerofthedashboard.
Thehoodwillpopupslightly.
Ifthehoodlatchhandlemoves
stiffly,orifyoucanopenthehood
withoutliftingthehandle,the
mechanismshouldbecleanedand
lubricated.
.Putyourfingersbetweenthefront
edgeofthehoodandthefront
grilletolocatethehoodlatch
handle.Pushthishandleupuntilit
releasesthehood.Liftthehood.
3.Liftthehoodupmostoftheway.
Thehydraulicsupportswillliftit
uptherestofthewayandholdit
up.
