Sunshade Operation
Sunroof Maintenance
The sunshade can be opened manually. However, the
sunshadewillopenautomaticallyasthesunroofopens.
Useonlyanonabrasivecleanerandasoftclothtoclean
theglasspanel.
NOTE: Thesunshadecannotbeclosedifthesunroofis

ForInformationvehiclesCenternot equipped(EVIC),withthe powerthe ElectronicsunroofVehicleswitch 3
willremainactivefor45secondsaftertheignitionswitch
isturnedOFF.Openingeitherfrontdoorwillcancelthis
feature.
Wind Buffeting
Wind buffeting can be described as the perception of
pressure on the ears or a helicopter-type sound in the
ears. Your vehicle may exhibit wind buffeting with the
windowsdown,orthesunroof(ifsoequipped)incertain
openorpartiallyopenpositions.Thisisanormaloccur-
renceandcanbeminimized.Ifthebuffetingoccurswith
the rear windows open, then open the front and rear
windows together to minimize the buffeting. If the
buffeting occurs with the sunroof open, adjust the sun-
roofopeningtominimizethebuffeting.
ForvehiclesequippedwiththeEVIC,thepowersunroof
switchwillremainactiveforupto10minutesafterthe
ignitionswitchisturnedOFF.Openingeitherfrontdoor
will cancel this feature. The time is programmable. For
details,referto“Key-OffPowerDelay,”under“Personal
Settings
(Customer-Programmable Features)” under
“Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)” in Sec-
tion4ofthismanual.
