THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE

How to Use Remote Start

All of the following conditions must be met before the

enginewillremotestart:

ToEnterRemoteStartMode

PressandreleasetheREMOTESTARTbutton

ontheRKEtransmittertwice.Theenginewill

startandthevehiclewillremainintheRemote

Startmodefora15minutecycle.

ShiftleverinPARK

Doorsclosed

NOTE:

• If_thenan_shutengine_downfault₁₀is_secondspresent_later.thevehiclewillstartand

Hoodclosed

Trunkclosed

•

For security, power window operation is disabled

whenthevehicleisintheRemoteStartmode.

Hazardswitchoff

Brakeswitchinactive(brakepedalnotpressed)

Ignitionkeyremovedfromignitionswitch

Batteryatanacceptablechargelevel,and

RKEPANICbuttonnotpressed

Theenginecanbestartedtwoconsecutivetimes(two

15minutecycles)withtheRKEtransmitter.However,

theignitionswitchmustbecycledtotheONposition

before you can repeat the start sequence for a third

cycle.
