THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
Using the Express Down Windows Feature — If
Equipped
The Panic Alarm will stay on for three minutes unless
you turn it off by pressing the PANIC button a second
timeorifthevehiclespeedis5mph(8km/h)orgreater.
Thisfeatureallowsyoutoremotelylowerbothfrontdoor
windowsatthesametime.Tousethisfeature,pressand
releasetheUNLOCKbuttonontheRKEtransmitterand
then immediately press and hold the UNLOCK button
untilthewindowslowertotheleveldesiredoruntilthey
lowercompletely.
NOTE: You may need to be close to the vehicle when
usingtheRKEtransmittertoturnoffthePanicAlarmdue
to the Radio Frequency (RF) noises emitted by the
system.
Programming Additional RKE Transmitters
Refer to “Sentry Key Programming” under “Sentry
Key”inthissection.
Using the Panic Alarm
ToturnthePanicAlarmfeatureonoroff,pressandhold
thePANICbuttonontheRKEtransmitterforatleastone
second and release. When the Panic Alarm is on, the
headlightsandparklightswillflash,thehornwillpulse
on and off, and the Illuminated Entry system (if
equipped)willturnon.
