If the ignition key is cycled, this sequence will repeat,
providingthesystemfaultstillexists.Ifthesystemfault
no longer exists, the Tire Pressure Monitoring Telltale
Light will no longer flash, and the ЉCHECK TPM SYS-
TEMЉ message will no longer display, and a pressure
valuewilldisplayinplaceofthedashes.Asystemfault
canoccurduetoanyofthefollowing:
NOTE:
1. Thecompactsparetire(ifsoequipped)doesnothave
a tire pressure monitoring sensor. Therefore, the TPMS
willnotmonitorthepressureinthecompactsparetire.
2.
Ifyouinstallthecompactsparetireinplaceofaroad
tirethathasapressurebelowthelow-pressurewarning
limit,uponthenextignitionkeycycle,theTPMTelltale
LightwillremainON,achimewillsound,andtheEVIC
willstilldisplayaflashingpressurevalueinthegraphic     5
display.
