TocanceltheAutoDownmovement,operatetheswitch
eitherintheupordowndirectionandreleasetheswitch.
WARNING!
Never leave children in a vehicle, with the keys in
the ignition switch. Occupants, particularly unat-
tendedchildren,canbecomeentrappedbythewin-
dows while operating the power window switches.
Such entrapment may result in serious injury or
death.
For vehicles not equipped with the Electronic Vehicle
InformationCenter(EVIC),thepowerwindowswitches
willremainactivefor45secondsaftertheignitionswitch
isturnedtotheLOCKposition.Openingeitherdoorwill
cancelthisfeature.

For vehicles equipped with EVIC, the power window
switcheswillremainactiveforupto10minutesafterthe
ignition switch is turned off. Opening either door will
cancelthisfeature.Thetimeforthisfeatureisprogram-
mable.Fordetails,referto“Key-OffPowerDelay,”under
“Personal Settings (Customer-Programmable Features)”
under“ElectronicVehicleInformationCenter(EVIC)”in
Section4ofthismanual.
Auto Window Down — If Equipped
Thefrontwindowcontrolsonthedriverandpassenger
door trim panels have an Auto Down feature. These
switches are labeled AUTO to indicate this capability.
Pushthewindowswitchpastthefirstdetent,release,and
thewindowwillgodownautomatically.
Toopenthewindowpartway,pushthewindowswitch
to the first detent and release it when you want the
windowtostop.
