You will want to have the airbags ready to
inflateforyourprotectioninacollision.While
the airbag system is designed to be mainte-
nancefree,ifanyofthefollowingoccurs,have
anauthorizeddealerservicethesystemimmediately.
WARNING!
Donotattempttomodifyanypartofyouradvanced
airbagsystem.Theairbagmayinflateaccidentallyor
maynotfunctionproperlyifmodificationsaremade.
Take your vehicle to an authorized dealer for any
advancedairbagsystemservice.Ifyourseatinclud-
ingyourtrimcoverandcushionneedstobeserviced
in any way (including removal or loosening/
tighteningofseatattachmentbolts),takethevehicle
to your authorized dealer. Only manufacturer ap-
provedseataccessoriesmaybeused.Ifitisnecessary
to modify an advanced airbag system for persons
withdisabilities,contactyourauthorizeddealer.

The light remains on after the six to eight second
interval.
• Thelightcomesonandremainsonwhiledriving.
NOTE: If the speedometer, tachometer, or any engine
related gauges are not working, the Occupant Restraint
Controller(ORC)mayalsobedisabled.Theairbagsmay
not be ready to inflate for your protection. Promptly
check fuse block for blown fuses. Refer to the label
